IIT Gandhinagar currently offers a 4-year B. Tech. programme in the Chemical, Electrical and Mechanical engineering branches. It also offers Ph.D. programme in several disciplines in Engineering (Chemical, Civil, Electrical and Mechanical), Sciences (Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics) and Humanities & Social Sciences (Cognitive Science, Economics, English, Philosophy and Sociology).

BTech

IIT Gandhinagar offers 4-year B.Tech. programme in three Engineering disciplines (Chemical, Electrical and Mechanical). Total number of seats available is 120, which is equally distributed across the disciplines. The admission to the course is through the IIT Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).

Ph.D

IIT Gandhinagar is looking for bright and dedicated young scholars interested in research to join us as PhD scholars. Currently, we offer PhD programme in several disciplines in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical and Mechanical), Sciences (Chemistry and Physics) and Humanities & Social Sciences (Cognitive Science, Economics/Finance, English, Philosophy and Sociology). Prospective students satisfying the eligibility criteria are encouraged to acquaint themselves with the research areas of our faculty members for suitable match of interest.
