Course: M.Tech in different departments

Department of Electrical Engineering: Power System Engineering
Department of Mechanical Engineering: Computer Integrated Design and Manufacturing, Energy System & Management
Department of Metallurgical & Materials Engineering: Extractive Met. of Iron and Steel, Foundry Technology.
Department of Chemistry: Surface Science & Engineering
Department of Production and Industrial Engineering: Industrial & Management Engineering, Automated Manufacturing System.
Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering: VLSI and Embedded Systems
Department of Civil Engineering: Structural Engineering, Geo Technical Engineering.
Department of Applied Mechanics: Design of Mechanisms and Structures.

Eligibility:
Candidates must have passed Bachelor of Engineering degree or its equivalent in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology from a recognized University.
For Production & Industrial Engg. branch the eligibility criteria for the above courses are B. Tech. / B. Sc. Engg. / B.E or its equivalent degree in Mechanical engg. / Production & Industrial Engg. / Production Engg. & Management / Production Engg. / Industrial Engg. / Automobile Engg.
Candidates with M.Sc. in Chemistry with Mathematics and Physics at B. Sc. Level or M. Sc. in physics with Chemistry and Mathematics at B. Sc. level or degree in Chemical / Mechanical Mtallurgical Engg. are eligible for admission to M. Tech. in Surface Science & Engineering.

Interview for M. Tech. Admission will be held on 16.07.2009 at 10:00am in respective department. No separate interview letter will be issued for this. Once selected finally they will have to submit their original documents and the Institute fees as per notification, only then the seat will be confirmed. The date of registration will be notified on the same day. They will have to deposit the institute fee and the hall fee as given below on 20th & 21st July 2009. Classes will start from 22.07.2009.

Last date for completed application form: 15.06.2009
Interview at respective departments: 16.07.2009 at 10:00am
Registration if selected : 16.07.2009
Tution and Hostel fee deposit: (20 ~21).07.2009
Commencement of classes: 22.07.2009
