Eligibility
For Integrated Ph.D Program in Physical Sciences:B.Sc with First Class/ Division with Honours/ Majors in Physics with mathematics as one of the subjects.
For Ph.D Program in Physical, Chemical & Biological Sciences:M.Sc with First Class/Division in Physics, Chemistry & Biology and/or its interdisciplinary branches with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

Note
Fellowship
For Integrated Ph.D Programme in Physical Sciences:Rs 12,000 per month during the first two years of the programme. Thereafter, upon meeting the eligibility criteria, the students will be inducted as JRF and will be paid Rs. 16000/- per month.
For For Ph.D Programme in Physical, Chemical & Biological Sciences:In line with the current rules Rs 16,000 per month for the first two years as a JRF. Thereafter, upon meeting the eligibility criteria of the Centre, the students will be inducted as SRF with a monthly stipend of Rs. 18000/- .
SelectionProcedure:A written test (BOSE TEST 2012) will be conducted by SNBNCBS on Sunday, the 4th March 2012at different Centres throughout the Country and the successful candidates will be considered for interview.
