Applications are invited for one post of JRF in a SERB-DST sponsored project entitled “Design and implementation of confocal microscopes with spatial light modulator based beam scanning and programmable beam manipulation mechanism” at the Dept. of Physics, IIT Guwahati. The appointment will be on contract basis initially for one year and may be extended further based on performance.
Minimum Qualification: M. Sc (Physics) with minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CPI (on a 10 point-scale). GATE/NET qualification, exposure to Labview/Matlab, programming skills in C/C++ are desirable but not essential.
Fellowship: Rs. 16000/- (consolidated, per month) +HRA + Medical facilities as per Institute rules.
Interested Candidates are requested to appear in a Walk-in interview (with all original documents) to be held on 8th October 2012 (Monday) in the Conference room, Dept. of Physics, IIT Guwahati at 11.00 am.
