Invites Applications for Ph.D. Programme of Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) January 2014 Session
The CSIR Fourth Paradigm Institute (CSIR4PI), a premier research institute of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), invites applications for Ph.D. Programme under Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) from eligible candidates. CSIR-4PI, home to the latest high performance supercomputing facility of CSIR, is devoted to the pursuit of high end computational and data intensive (BIG DATA) science.
Eligibility:Ph.D. (Science): A Master's degree in Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Geophysics, Meteorology, Atmospheric Sciences, Oceanography, Geo-informatics and Environmental Sciences having a valid National level fellowship (JRF/SRF of various funding agencies, eg. CSIR, UGC, DBT, DSTetc), INSPIRE or other equivalent fellowships.
Ph.D. (Engineering): AMaster's degree in Environmental Engineering/Computer Science or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology with exceptionally good academic record or a Master's degree in Sciences with a valid GATE score or UGC/CSIR NET/NBHM or valid CSIR-SRF or equivalent fellowship.
Note: CSIR Scientists recruited 2009 onwards/Existing Research Fellows/ Projects Assistants (working at CSIR Labs for a minimum of one year) who fulfil the qualifications are also eligible to apply.
