IIMK Kochi Campus announces admission for

Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP)

 

Kochi, October 15, 2013: The Kochi Campus of Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) has announced the admissions for their Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP). The programme is of 2 year duration and the classes are scheduled to commence in February 2014. The programme is designed for catering to the needs of executives working in the emerging metros of Kochi, Trivandrum, Kottayam, Coimbatore etc with at least 2 years of work experience in supervisory/managerial/administrative and/or technical roles including services, manufacturing, KPO/BPO, Government, and any other organized sector.  There will be two Batches for the programme i.e. Evening Batch and Week-end batch and the candidates can opt for the batch of their choice.  The Evening batch will have its classes from 06.45 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Fridays while the Week-end batch will attend the classes from 04.00 p.m. to 09.45 p.m. on Saturdays and from 09.45 p.m. to 04.00 p.m. on Sundays.

 

Eligibility: Any Graduate/CA/ICWA/CS with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks having at least 2 years relevant post qualification work experience.

 

Admission Process: The selection will be based on educational qualification, work experience, the performance in the Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT) and performance in personal interview.

 

Interested candidates are required to apply online through the IIMK website www.imk.ac.in and a hard copy of the completed application along with self attested copies of mark lists, experience certificate, one passport size photograph and a DD for Rs 2000/- drawn in favor of Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode should be sent to "The Officer on Special Duty-Kochi Campus, Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, IIM Kozhikode Campus P. ABOUT INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT KOZHIKODE

 

The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) is the fifth IIM, established in 1996 by the Government of India in collaboration with the Government of Kerala. THE CAMPUS

IIMK is located at Kozhikode, Kerala, the 'God's Own Country', made famous by the entry of Vasco Da Gama to India, and is 15 km from Calicut Railway Station and 38 km from Calicut Airport. The Institute Campus has been developed in the scenic ambience of approximately 96 acres of land in the Kunnamangalam locality of Kozhikode. The site comprises of two hillocks with a valley in between. The panoramic view from the hilltop is a visual delight and conducive for learning and contemplation. The design of the Campus is aimed at preserving the existing ambience, and incorporates the strong architectural traditions of Kerala.

 

THE KOCHI CAMPUS

The IIMK Kochi Campus is initially housed in a facility at Athulya Complex, Infopark, Kakkanad, Kochi and will focus on executive education of long term and short term duration as well as specialized courses for executives of IT sector etc. As the only IIM in the country having an internationally accredited Executive Management Education Program, the new campus at Kochi intends to expand offerings of the Institute in this space through full time and part time programs targeted at middle and senior level executives.
