ReplyDeleteQ21 has ill defined integrals if f(x) is chosen to be proportional to Dirac delta. It is well known that Dirac Delta is defined only for "test functions" that are smooth and have a well defined norm. Carelessness on the part of question setters.

All the candidates who have appeared in CSIR-NET December-2015 examination held on 20/12/2015 are informed that the answer keys of all the subjects will be available on CSIR, HRDG website www.csirhrdg.res.in from 18/01/2016 to 22/01/2016 to ensure transparency in our examination process. The candidates are allowed to send the representations of the answer keys of all the subjects through email only latest by 22/01/2016. Candidates are advised to read instructions for sending representation available on our website www.csirhrdg.res.in. The representations received on email after the stipulated date or without any documentary/textual support, shall not be entertained. The observations submitted by post or in person will not be accepted. All the representations in a consolidated form, if any, will be given due consideration by the experts whose decision will be final, if the representation is accepted by the subject experts in answer key, a policy decision will be taken and the same will be reflected in the result. Final Answer Key of all the subjects shall be displayed on our website in due course of time. The CSIR’s decision on the representation shall be final and no further representation will be entertained on Final keys thereafter.
