Application Process
The JEST-2023 application process is conducted entirely online. A non-refundable application fee of Rs.800 (Rs.400 for SC/ST Male applicants and Non-SC/ST Female applicants) is required to complete the application and can be paid through various online payment modes.
Note that the application fee is waived for female applicants belonging to the SC/ST category.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for JEST-2023, candidates must be seeking admission for a Ph.D or Integrated Ph.D Program in Physics, Theoretical Computer Science, Neuroscience, or Computational Biology in one of the participating institutes. Applicants who are expecting to complete their final exams by August 2023 are also eligible for JEST-2023. However, the eligibility criteria set by the participating institutes take precedence over the general eligibility criteria.
