The Raman Research Institute (RRI), funded by the Government of India, is a leading institute committed to fundamental research in basic sciences.

Applications are invited for two posts of Research Assistant (RA) in the Soft Condensed Matter Group. The positions are temporary, initially for one year, and extendable up to two years based on performance.

• Job Description: Work on projects involving particle-based simulations, Linear Response Theory, and analytical methods for non-reciprocal systems.
• Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/- per month plus HRA.
• Essential Qualifications: M.Sc./M.Tech or B.E./B.Tech in any field with knowledge of statistical mechanics and soft condensed matter.
• Desirable Skills: Coding (C, FORTRAN, Python), familiarity with simulations, and AI/ML tools.
• Upper Age Limit: 35 years as of the last application date.
