About the Program

The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Bhubaneswar has announced admissions for its Doctoral Program for the 2024-25 academic session. The PhD programs are available in several disciplines, including Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and more.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following qualifications to be eligible for the program:

• Engineering: M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc./MCA with CGPA of 7.5 or 70% marks
• Engineering (B.E./B.Tech.): CGPA of 8.0 or 75% marks
• Science: M.Sc. with CGPA of 6.5 or 60% marks

Relaxations are provided for SC/ST candidates and those with cross-disciplinary qualifications.

Application Process

Interested candidates can apply online at www.iiit-bh.ac.in. The last date to submit applications is 28th February 2025. An application fee of Rs. 1000 is applicable, payable online.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on the educational qualifications and the following tests:

• NET-qualified candidates will appear for the Research Aptitude Test (RAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
• Non-NET candidates must appear for a Written Test (WT), Research Aptitude Test (RAT), and Personal Interview (PI).

The tests will be held from 10th to 14th March 2025, and the results will be announced on 20th March 2025. The classes will begin on 1st April 2025.
